Common Man's Hero or King Andrew?

Andrew Jackson has been heavily debated by historians. Was Jackson the hero of the Common Man or King Andrew?

Andrew Jackson was viewed as both a king-like figure and a hero of the common man. Different people see him as different because of their differences. Historians do not have a unified view of him because they were not from the time frame of when he was president. I myself view him as a king like figure. He had his presidential powers and took andvantage of all of them and even went to the extreme of using powers he did not have the right to use. Im sure that if i was around in the time frame that he was president that i would have a different view. He may have taken advantage of his powers, but most of it turned out to be beneficial in some way. So, you could see him as either the hero or the king. It just depends on your views on his actions and the consequences.
